We get asked a lot of questions about our coins and your orders. While, we enjoy interacting and talking to new and familiar customers we thought we could make it easier on all of us to just put them here in one spot, on the internet. Hopefully you found this page before you contacted us, if not, no big deal. We will pleasantly answer, how will my order be shipped?, for the eleventy billionth time.
How will my order be shipped?
Let's cut right to chase shall we. All orders are shipped from the mindset of the collector. We are not just a coin dealer here at Coin Craze America, we are crazy about coins as collectors as well. What does that mean to us and for you?
To us when we buy coins online to be shipped we want our coins to be protected from receiving any type of damage and its discrete enough that it gets to us safely. When you buy from us we treat your coins and packaging the same way. Raw coins are stored in a 2 x 2 cardboard flip or if in a rolled set, in a plastic coin tube. Coins are packaged in either a plain bubble mailer or cardboard box. Marketing materials will never be on the outside to draw attention to coins possibly being in that package. Your package will blend in with your regular mail and/or package service but rest assured the contents inside will be protected.
What happens if my package goes missing?
Contact Us and possibly your local authorities, depending on the specifics of your situation. All shipments are sent with a tracking number so we'll start there to make sure the carrier has logged it delivered. Depending on what the tracking information shows will determine next steps. We will always assist you the best that we can if this happens, however sometimes the best we can do is provide you with all the information we have so you can turn it over to your local authorities.
Will my shipment be insured?
Again, the best answer to this is it depends. Obviously if you request signature and/or insurance be added to your shipping service then, yes your order will be insured for the total order value. If no insurance is requested or selected it is up to our discretion as to whether we insure the shipment for any additional coverage. Typically shipment rates include some insurance coverage with them, usually $100 or less depending on carrier and service. We want you to have a good experience all around and sometimes bad things happen, so typically orders that include a coin worth over $50 is insured to the value of the order.
What is Coin Craze University?
Coin Craze University is probably one of our most fun and entertaining projects. We're relatively new to coin collecting ourselves but we dove in head first and started a business and launched a website at the same time. We made mistakes early on and will make others along the way. Coin Craze University is a free resource documenting our growth and educating you along the way as we learn as well. We took the plunge and made the mistake so you don't have make the mistakes that we did.
